Watch The Voice winner, Jordan Smith, croon a rendition of Joe Cocker’s “You Are So Beautiful” on the People’s Choice Awards 2016, which aired on CBS Wednesday (Jan 6) night.
That’s adult contemporary music producer, David Foster, who will be working with Jordan on his Universal Records debut, set to come out later this year.
In case you didn’t know, Foster has worked with popular adult contemporary artists such as Josh Groban, Celine Dion, and Andrea Bocelli. He has a long history with singing show alums, including Clay Aiken, Jackie Evancho (America’s Got Talent), Ruben Studdard, Jessica Sanchez,Katharine McPhee and the late Michael Johns in the studio, or out on one of the producer’s tours.
Recently, the singer performed the National Anthem at the NHL Winter Classic in Boston. Check out that performance HERE.
Jordan was likely singing the classic 70’s ballad to Kristen Denny, his long-time girlfriend who said yes when he proposed to her over the New Year’s holiday. Lots for Jordan to celebrate, these days.
