Jennifer talked about her upcoming career plans, but there was no mention of Idol. She says she’s got a couple of films coming up in the fall, and then after that, “I’m going to see where we go from there.”
“We have a lot of music–we’re going to be doing another video for the 3rd single, ” she says, “I try not to take it too far in advance because I really like to concentrate on what I’m doing at the time.”
She does discuss Idol–but in the past tense. “I love that we were able to bring compassion back, ” she says of the new judges’ panel, “Because we’re artists, and we know what’s it’s like to be in that position…nobody wants to be cut down, nobody want to feel terrible about themselves.”
“You have to say things in a way where people can accept it, ” Jennifer continues, “but you also want to push them to grow.”
According to Idolator, somewhere in one of the videos (not watching them all! Sorry) Jennifer announces her next single: “Papi”
