Jason Castro is preparing to set out on a nationwide mall tour in support of his self-titled debut. The album, on Universal Records, is set to be released on November 17–same day as winner Kris Allen.
Jason isn’t worried about the competition, “I see it as an opportunity, ” Jason says, “We’re all living the dream, so I’m not really concerned about when whose album comes out — I’m just gonna get out there, that’s all I want to do.”
Which Season 8 Idol’s record is Jason excited to hear? Allison Iraheta, the red-haired rocker! “I’m really excited for everybody, but I can’t wait to get Allison’s record, ” he says.
The album will feature production and songwriting contributions from Evan Rosse, John Fields and Kara DioGuardi.
The first single, “Just Fall in Love” is available now as a digital download.
