Idols In Concert – Stats – 05/19/15

Another week, another sold-out concert for One Direction, another $4M in revenue. This time the four lads from the UK are selling out The Sevens Stadium in Dubai. They certainly but the world in World Tour. Meanwhile, also from the X-Factor UK franchise, Olly Murs is selling out all over Ireland. He takes in a cool $2.26M from five concerts demonstrating that just because you don’t hear somebody on the radio in the US, doesn’t mean they aren’t a success somewhere else.

Chase Rice from Survivor has a single wending its way up the chart and is opening for Kenny Chesney. Kenny took his tour from Albany to Glendale and sold out almost every night. ABC’s Nashville took the show on the road and sold-out concerts in Rosemont and LA. The Sing-Off show is also touring, but their LA stop could not be considered a success.

As a preview for tomorrow’s BB run down, our two recently minted winners both hit the Hot 100. Nick Fradiani’s “Beautiful Life” debuts at 92 while Sawyer Frederick’s “A Thousand Years” is right behind at 93. They are on the Digital Song’s chart at 22nd and 23rd respectively. Also of note is that Fifth Harmony gets their first Top 20 hit on the BB100 with “Worth It”
