As predicted all week, Tom Petty has his first number one album. Less predictable was how well the “Guardians of the Galaxy” soundtrack did. A big opening week for the movie and some nice selections has resulted in another hit for the Disney soundtrack department.
On the digital chart, “Bang, Bang” is likely to rule the week and features Jessie J, Ariana Grande and former Idol judge Nicki Minaj. “Rude” is likely to continue it’s fourth week at the top of the Hot 100.
