  1. people should read this article just for the part about the difficulty in routing tours during specific parts of year

  2. Yep….I remember Adam also signed Melanie Martinez but she later on got signed to Atlantic. He was going to sign Christina Grimmie but she winded up signing with Island.Maybe Adam doesn’t want to work with any of his “Voice” finalists as much post-show anymore.

I saw Tony about 6 months after “The Voice” at World Cafe Live in Philly which holds about 600. He pretty much filled it. and was incredible live. Just got an e-mail a few days ago that Tessanne’s going to be at the upstairs venue there that only holds about 150.I keep wondering how the crowd at her show’s going to turn out.

  3. Interesting read, and really not surprising.
The only positive thing I can say lately about Wind-Up is that they have recently changed their senior A&R, so at least they do recognize when they have made the wrong calls.

On that note, I do hope to one day hear the first James Michael produced version of James sophomore album sitting on a shelf somewhere at Wind-up’s HQ.

  4. I heard that somebody made a petition to have Werid Al as the half-time performer and it surpassed the amount of signatures it needed…….

  5. TMZ: #Breaking ‘American Idol’ Josh Gracin writes apparent suicide note… blames wife

‘American Idol’ Season 2 finalist Josh Gracin? had neighbors and police racing to his door … after posting what looked like a suicide note in the wake of marital problems.

  6. Hope this turns out to be a misunderstanding and he’s okay.

I’ve gone for a long time without hearing his name and just about an hour before this story broke, his name came across my twitter timeline because he was at a songwriting session earlier today. Crazy timing.

Not a bad day when you get to listen to (and write with) these two. @hannahblaylock @joshgracin

  7. wow…. :(( I guess the one good thing is that they found him before he may have tried to kill himself.

  8. Well, that’s a nice piece of news – I like Fleming Artists – they are a very conscientious agency – and the people they sign seem to get really good service. Also, maybe Casey will finally play a venue I can get to?

  9. P2 is singing an acoustic version of “Raging Fire” now on Live with Kelly and MIchael (with Cooney and a cellist). Odd that he’s not playing his new single.

  10. I think that you’re right. My TV guide was incorrect in labeling this a “new” show.
