Keith Urban willing to return to ‘American Idol’ – Keith Urban has already said he would be willing to return to American Idol as a judge, but for the time being, his future on the show remains up in the air, the singer said Thursday backstage at the American Idol finale. “I have no idea. All I know is that there is talk about it,” he says. “For me, I’m in the studio literally this week finishing up my album and putting a tour together, hitting the road in July. So onwards.” – Read more at Entertainment Weekly

‘American Idol:’ In Memoriam – I don’t mean that in some vindictive way; truth be told, I haven’t really cared enough to be outraged since probably 2009, when Kris Allen defeated Adam Lambert in a polarizing finale before disappearing from the face of the earth. And I’m not saying it out of frustration, either … at this point, I’ve gotten used to the ill-advised shakeups at the judges’ table, ridiculous “feuds,” questionable Top 10s, and underwhelming champions that have sadly become this show’s recurring themes. – Read more at MTV

Which ‘American Idol’ Finale Song Is Best? Nicki And Keith Disagree! – “I enjoy Candice’s song a little bit better,” Minaj admitted, before giving props to Harrison’s tear-stained ballad. “But I know Kree’s original song will be great for country radio.” Urban, however, had his fellow country singer’s back, voting for “All Cried Out” as the song of the season. “All due respect to Candice’s song, the Kree one just hit me a little bit deeper emotionally. But both of them have great messages, so I applaud the songwriters of both of those songs and the fact that they really had substantive lyrics in both of them.” – Read more at MTV

‘American Idol’: Stylist Nra Kudelka on Candice and Kree’s style evolutions – “I can only do a certain amount of prep work until I know what their song selection is,” Kudelka says. “It makes a huge difference if they’re singing a ballad, if they’re singing an uptempo song, how they’re moving, what the staging is going to be. That all plays into how they need to look.” – Read more at Entertainment Weekly

News: Jennifer Lopez on Returning to American Idol – As for returning to the judges’ table next season, “I don’t know! When I say, ‘I don’t know,’ people think, ‘Oh, she’s playing a game.’ I’m not,” Lopez said. ” I really don’t know. If it became really real where I had to make a decision, I would have to sit down and really weigh out the options of what my life looks like in the next year to see if I would sign. Because it does take up a lot of time, and I do have a lot of other things going on that I’m super excited about. So we’ll see.” – Read more at TV Guide
