The Lee DeWyze concert scheduled in Nashville tonight has been cancelled. According to Lee, the venue cancelled him to make way for a Nashville shoot! Lee has since deleted his tweets addressing the situation (not sure why he would do that) but here they are, “So, I want to address the show in Nashville tomorrow. I’m kinda shocked Myself, but apparently… the television show “Nashville” has decided to film there tomorrow. What has to be done. Please understand it is out of our hands, and we WILL reschedule the show. 12th & Porter has been totally cool With us, and are working it out so we will be back soon :)”

Lady Gaga, Others Applaud Gay-Rights Election Victories – Three states — Maine, Maryland and Washington — put same-sex marriage on their ballots for a popular vote. The initiative officially passed in Maine and Maryland and is expected to pass in Washington, marking the first popular-vote victories for same-sex marriage after 30 previous attempts by other states. Gay marriage is currently legal in six states (Massachusetts, Iowa, New Hampshire, New York, Connecticut and Vermont), as well as in Washington, D.C. But as The Associated Press points out, those laws were either enacted by lawmakers or through court rulings. The happy news was met with enthusiastic reactions from celebrity gay-rights supporters. “We did it!!!!
