Carrie Underwood Calls Hubby the ‘Missing Piece to My Puzzle’

With two careers that keep them on the road, Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher haven’t had much together time since their July 10 wedding, but the singer says for her, marriage is a perfect fit.

“Mike’s the missing piece to my puzzle – he’s a few pieces, ” Underwood tells PEOPLE Country in its November issue. “He makes me a better person.”

Though Underwood, 27, admits that winters in her hockey player husband’s native Canada can be rough (“I can’t do my cute heels in the winter!”), for now, the couple are content to shuttle between their Nashville and Ottawa homes.

Live From: Bo Bice

Cowboys & Indians: Some people have said your latest album, 3, is a bit like that old Donny and Marie Osmond song?—?a little bit country, a little bit rock ’n’ roll.
Bo Bice: [Laughs.] Hey, I’m a big Osmonds fan, so I take that as a compliment. But, yeah, that’s what it is. I feel like it’s a nice mixture of country music and Southern rock. The last CD, See the Light, was very much Southern rock. I know that’s how most people think of me. That was kind of my label on [American Idol]?—?I was supposed to be “the rocker.” But it’s not a far stretch to include the country side as well. Particularly on some of my singer-songwriter stuff.

‘Dancing with the Stars’: Eliminated contestant talks about ‘competing against athletes, graceful people’

After hosts Tom Bergeron and Brooke Burke tortured the contestants through another excruciating night of who’s safe and who’s not (better to wait and hear everything they say, Cheryl Burke!), another low-scoring performer was sent packing Tuesday on Dancing with the Stars. For more about the celebrity who got the heave-ho, go to the jump. Margaret Cho may have been responsible for some of the best soundbites this season (she called her samba on Monday “the gayest thing that ever happened”), but it looks like viewers weren’t too interested in her impromptu yuks. After she and Louis Van Amstel scored 18 out of a possible 30 for dancing to Barry Manilow’s “Copacabana” on Monday, the comedienne became the third contestant to leave the ABC reality show.

The 18-year-old, from Zimbabwe, had been tipped to win the competition outright but failed to even qualify as one of the final 12 contestants after being rejected by judge Cheryl Cole.

Reports earlier this week claimed Gamu’s failure was related to issues with her visa, and on Tuesday night the Home Office confirmed her family had been sent an official letter telling them to leave Britain.

CNN’s Piers Morgan Vows Format Changes

EXCLUSIVE: Piers Morgan tells me that he’s planning big changes to the Larry King Live interview slot he inherits in January. “The format, everything, will change. I’m not just going to be another man sitting in the CNN studio wearing red braces.” Morgan tells me his mission is to help boost CNN’s sagging primetime line-up. Larry King Live scored its lowest monthly viewer total in nearly 20 years in May, averaging just 653, 000 viewers each night.

President Obama tops Morgan’s list of potential CNN interviewees, although nothing’s been agreed yet. The production team needs to be finalised before guests are signed. The show will be mostly filmed in New York apart from 3 months in the summer when Morgan is judging America’s Got Talent in Los Angeles. Morgan’s reality show pals Donald Trump and Simon Cowell have already said they’ll be interviewed.
