Kris Allen’s Shocking Revelation

“Idol” host Ryan Seacrest learned something so juicy and scandalous about “American Idol” champ Kris Allen today, that he had to spread the word via Twitter. Seacrest posted, “Today Kris allen told me his wife has to drop him off and pick him up at work now because they only have one car in LA.” OK, maybe it’s not so scintillating after all, but we needed some sort of Kris Allen fix!

Gettin’ married? Meet McPhee

These days, being an “American Idol” alumn doesn’t mean squat. Your reality show ass better get on the ball as soon as Simon Cowell nails your coffin shut or you may be flipping patties at the same Burger Hut we saw in your audition footage.

If you do hit the ground running, big things can happen. Look at Daughtry, Jennifer Hudson and Kellie — ugh — Pickler. They are all huge acts in their respective genres. Skipping along behind said stars, like a flower child who ate too many special brownies, is the life-loving Katharine McPhee.

A Conversation with Brooke White

Recently, I was afforded the privilege to interview an American Idol alumna-a gifted vocalist, instrumentalist and songwriter- the stunning Brooke White. Brooke White was the fifth place finalist on the seventh season of American Idol. Her new album, ‘High Hopes and Heartbreak, ‘ released by June Baby Records, has received rave reviews from music critics.

An Arizona native, White first performed in public at the age of 15, where she auditioned for her school musical, Meet Me In St. Louis, and ended up with the lead role. This marked the beginning of her path into music.

Sparks defines ‘diva’ her way

Jordin Sparks — American Idol winner, inaugural-ball entertainer, purity-ring enthusiast, plus-size teen model — is all of 19 years old.

But she is already reaching diva-level proportions.

The native of Phoenix — who performed this month in VH1’s Divas Live, sandwiched between seasoned superstars (Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston) and spunky up-and-comers (Adele and Miley Cyrus) — is riding high with an opening slot on the Britney Spears tour and a top-10 album, Battlefield.

10 intriguing albums being released, including Weezer, Adam Lambert and Wolfmother

Carrie Underwood, Play On (Nov. 3) True confession: I gave Underwood’s 2007 album Carnival Ride a D grade. Two years later, I have four songs from that disc on my iPod. I will never again underestimate the Nashville nymph’s seductive powers.

m Adam Lambert, TBD (Nov. 24) In the new ish of Rolling Stone, there’s a wicked shot of last year’s AI runner-up howling in the recording studio. Sweet! We want our Lamby to raise a hellhound ruckus on his debut disc. Bring the noise, baby!

Going Toe-to-Toe with ‘Dancing with the Stars” Michael Irvin

If it had been solely up to the judges’ scores on last Monday’s “Dancing with the Stars, ” former Dallas Cowboys’ football champ Michael Irvin and his pro partner Anna Demidova might have gone home with a lowly score of 13 points for their cha cha.

Now ET is inside Irvin and Demidova’s private rehearsal to find out how they plan to win the judges over.

The pro dancer told ET’s Kevin Frazier that she is going to make their quick step more “complicated” to please the judges.

SYTYCD: Live show adds new dimensions to reality show routines

‘So You Think You Can Dance, ‘ the television show, must be doing its job a little too well, because ‘So You Think You Can Dance, ‘ the tour, is a little disappointing.

That’s not to say the road show, which stopped at Newark’s Prudential Center Thursday night and hits Trenton’s Sovereign Bank Arena tonight, wasn’t entertaining, even spectacular at times.

The So You Think You Can Dance Tour Is Like Watching TV with 20, 000 Strangers

Last night I ventured all the way out to Newark, New Jersey to catch the live version of So You Think You Can Dance. It is simultaneously worse than you would expect and more awesome than you could hope for.

First of all, trying to take New Jersey Transit at 6pm on a Thursday night when there is also a U2 concert at the Meadowlands is like trying to drive out of New Orleans when a hurricane is coming, except instead of dealing with terrified citizens, you’re dealing with excited boozers with no musical taste.

Lacey Schwimmer Will Miss Macy Gray on DWTS

Ballroom may not have been her ‘calling, ‘ and her Viennese waltz was more bizarre than beautiful, but ousted DWTS celeb Macy Gray did manage to make a few fans along the way off the parquet.

‘I think Macy should have stayed around, ‘ pro Lacey Schwimmer told PEOPLE at the Surrogates world premiere in Hollywood on Thursday. ‘I thought that she was a breath of fresh air for the show. She was the new and improved Cloris Leachman.’
