Adam Lambert reveals Album Details
I have no idea how accurate the translation is of this Adam Lambert interview with the Japanese magazine, In Rock, but reportedly, he talks about his upcoming album, says he’s got around 25 songs recorded so far, and that it should be completed around October. The songs will be more personal and current in comparison to his debut, which was more “out there”–a homage to glam-rock in the 70s, 80s, a love letter to his favorite artists such as David Bowie or Boy George. Adam told fans on twitter yesterday that he’s already has a name picked out for the new album.
Adam Lambert Can’t Beat the NYC Heat
Clearly no fan of the overwhelming summertime weather, Adam Lambert looked as though he was having a tough time bearing the heatwave in New York City over the weekend (July 16).
Not helping the cause, the “American Idol” alum was dressed in a dark-colored ensemble complete with black jeans and matching leather boots as he chatted on his cell phone while placing his hand on his forehead to wipe away the dripping sweat.

Concert to benefit local girl
A concert featuring Jason Castro of American Idol fame will help offset the costs of a trip for a cancer-stricken girl through the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
Carson City’s Jake Mercer, 16, is helping to organize the fundraiser with classmates at Bishop Manogue Catholic High School in Reno.

Popstar To Operastar champion Joe McElderry has confessed that he is “glad to be out of the X Factor machine”.
The Geordie lad admitted that he is relieved to have been offered a new record deal with the Universal label, having being dropped earlier this year by Simon Cowell’s Syco records.
Joe told the Daily Star that his new album would not be an opera album and would probably come out on the Decca label.

Simon Cowell ‘washes his hands’ of Cheryl Cole after X Factor snub
A source close to the former Girls Aloud singer, who is in Los Angeles on an extended sabbatical, says despite 51-year-old Cowell planning to fly out to the city in the next two weeks, the pair have ‘no plans to meet up either now or in the foreseeable future’.
The source said: ‘They have both moved on with their lives. She hasn’t spoken to him and they have no plans to see each other in America.’

Simon Cowell’s Syco ‘lied’ about Leona Lewis ‘plagiarism’
The X Factor winner unveiled new single ‘Collide’ on Friday, which just hours later was noted as sounding “identical” to the song ‘Fade Into Darkness’ by Swedish DJ Avicii, better known as Tim Berg.
Ministry of Sound threatened to sue Cowell over the track, but Syco responded by claiming that “there is zero legal case to answer”, as the dance artist’s contribution has already been recognized.
“Avicii is already credited as a songwriter on Leona’s song, ” a representative said. “It’s a case of sour grapes from Ministry of Sound.”
However, Avicii hit back at Syco’s assertions on Twitter last night, writing: “To answer everyone, the first time I heard Leona Lewis ‘Collide’ was today. I didn’t produce it and neither me or my manager could approve it.
