Kellie Pickler, Taylor Hicks and Bo Bice participated in this event.

‘American Idol’ winner Kris Allen to perform at Alive Fest

An “American Idol” champion who hasn’t exactly conquered the pop charts, Kris Allen expressed not a hint of disappointment in a recent interview.

Scotty McCreery and Lauren Alaina Share Baby Pictures

Get ready to coo “Aw!” and to squeal “They were sooo cute!” when you get a load of these utterly adorable baby pictures of ‘American Idol‘ Season 10 winner Scotty McCreery and runner up Lauren Alaina. McCreery (joined by his older sister) was quite the butterball in the infant photo of him with a bottle in his mouth, and those big round cheeks that you just want to squeeze or kiss. The second photo, seen below, looks more like the McCreery we encountered during his ‘Idol’ run — just in “mini me” form. He’s sporting a cowboy hat, a blue fringed jacket and red bandana. He was a cowboy even as a toddler. He was button-cute, too.
