James Durbin talks ‘Idol’ return, national tour – “We’ve got an hour’s set,” says James, who finished fourth in last year’s Idol competition. “It’s great. “American Idol” Finalist Syesha Mercado Will Star in Paper Mill’s Reimagined Once On This Island – Syesha Mercado

“American Idol” finalist Syesha Mercado will play Ti Moune in the Paper Mill Playhouse’s upcoming production production of Once On This Island, which features book and lyrics by Lynn Ahrens and music by Stephen Flaherty. More than 20 years after its premiere, Flaherty and Ahrens are reinventing their first musical with Tony-nominated director Thomas Kail (In the Heights, Lombardi, Magic/Bird) and choreographer Bradley Rapier (“So You Think You Can Dance”). Celebrity Apprentice’s Lou Ferrigno Wishes He Could’ve Put Lisa Lampanelli in a Sleeper Hold – Apparently Lisa Lampanelli isn’t aware that you don’t mess with The Incredible Hulk. “I wish I could’ve put her in a sleeper hold,” Lou Ferrigno tells TVGuide.com. On Sunday’s episode of The Celebrity Apprentice, Lampanelli was shocked when Ferrigno successfully returned from the boardroom from the previous task. Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Hit the Studio – All in good time, was the general response from Aguilera, whose last studio effort was 2010’s “Bionic.” She said quality was more important than quantity and that she wanted to find “personal” songs to record. She did point out, however, that she does have a song she’s recording with fellow judge Cee Lo Green.
