Fox Brings Back ‘Name That Tune’ With Jane Krakowski Hosting & Randy Jackson As Band Leader – Name That Tune is returning to screens with Jane Krakowski hosting a rebooted series for Fox. Former American Idol judge Randy Jackson is set as band leader for the show, which will premiere on January 6 after The Masked Singer. It comes from Fox Alternative Entertainment, Prestige Entertainment, which owns the rights to the show, and Holey Moley producer Eureka Productions. Janine Cooper, who has overseen The Bachelor and The Masked Singer in Australia, is showrunner. The game show, which launches in the 9 pm slot, tests contestants’ music knowledge as they battle it out in an assortment of challenging musical games for cash and prizes. – Read more at Deadline

‘America’s Got Talent’ winner Landau Eugene Murphy Jr. recovering from COVID-19 – “America’s Got Talent” winner Landau Eugene Murphy is feeling much better after contracting what he described as a relatively mild case of COVID-19. The West Virginia native said in a Facebook post earlier this month that he got the virus in late October. “When I’m not on tour, I’m really a big homebody, so it wasn’t that hard for me to lockdown,” Murphy said in a news release from promoters. “I’ve barely left the house since March. But last month, I took my little boy to a small gathering of eight people to carve Halloween pumpkins, and most of the adults who were there around that table caught the virus.” Murphy said his symptoms were pretty mild – he got tired easily and lost his sense of taste and smell.
