MLB All-Star Game: Fall Out Boy, Akon join Gwen Stefani in lineup – MLB’s All-Star Game has a star-studded lineup, and not just when it comes to batting order. The pro baseball league announced Thursday that Fall Out Boy, Rachel Platten, Empire of the Sun, Andra Day, and Akon are joining previously announced performers Gwen Stefani, OneRepublic, and Tori Kelly. Stefani, OneRepublic, and Kelly are the big headliners for the Budweiser All-Star Concert in San Diego. Platten will sing the American National Anthem ahead of the All-Star Game, while The Tenors will perform the Canadian one. Country singer tweets she was asked to leave Albuquerque bar – Alaina tweeted “apparently @TwinPeaksLodge doesn’t love America.” Her Twitter jabs at the bar caught the attention of DJ’s on the Bobby Bones Show on The Big I 107.9. “Well listen, I bet you that it wasn’t just a mild USA chant,” one person on the show said. “Especially at a bar like that, people get pretty rowdy.” The 21-year-old country singer was in town for the “Girls with Guitars” tour.
