Even if the acts were weak, America’s Got Talent had a good night ratings-wise, matching its season high in the 18-49 demo Tuesday, with a 2.6 preliminary rating. It was up 0.2 from last week’s 9 o’clock airing.

Over 12 million viewers? Spectacular ratings for a summer series.
