Jena Irene Asciutto just released her latest music video for the song “You Gotta Help Me.” The clip features the rock singer playing electric piano on a parched strip of deserted highway with burnt-brown mountains in the background. The desolate setting sets the scene for the song’s desperate lyrics.
“You Gotta Help Me” is a cut from the singer’s April EP, Innocence, which also features the tracks “Innocence”, “Numb”, “Wait” and “Unbreakable.”

“I didn’t want my record to sound straight pop like everything on the radio,” Jena told the Detroit Free Press. The new material is “very string-heavy…pretty much on every track of the record.” The singer added: “Strings have such a dramatic and epic sound to them. And the way these songs were written, it’s very dramatic.”
