Jennifer Hudson Says Commitment To Honor Aretha Franklin’s Authenticity Made ‘Respect’ Her “Most Personal Project” – Contenders L.A. – Jennifer Hudson felt that the best way to honor the late soul singing legend Aretha Franklin in the biopic Respect was to deliver as much authenticity in her performance as the Queen of Soul invested in her music. “How do you even begin to capture or approach someone so massive as Aretha Franklin, that’s so dear to all of us in some way?” a still-marveling Hudson, who was Franklin’s personal choice to portray her in her life story, told Deadline’s Contenders Film: Los Angeles, where she shared a panel with the film’s director Liesl Tommy, costume designer Clint Ramos, hair department head Lawrence Davis and makeup department head Stevie Martin. – Read more at Deadline.com

Harry Styles talks Pleasing: a brand built on small joys – “It’s funny because I don’t think of myself that way [as a style icon]… but bringing people together is the thing I’m most proud of. [At the shows] I get kind of a front-row seat to see a bunch of people getting in a room together and just being themselves. Not coming to the front of the stage, because they’re hanging out at the back, dancing like nobody’s watching. Having the most basic version of a good time. Humans interacting and accepting each other,” says Styles, expressing wonder at the zeal of his committed fandom, the Stylers. “A room full of people just loving each other is so powerful.” – Read more at DazedDigital.com

Adam’s voice work as the devil is brilliant. He posted several scenes on his IG. For those who don’t have Netflix, check it out. He’s amazing. No doubt there will be many more voice projects in Adam’s future.

Also, Adam is in NYC with his manager. She said the other day they were going to be working behind the scenes over the next few weeks. Curious to know what they’re up to. Hoping we won’t have to wait too long to find out.

  3. Thanks to buying the $49 option I at least have a chance at good seats. It lets me get in early around 5/6 before doors open so that should help!

I had floor seats at the other place so I can only hope this works out. The venue is much nicer too so praying it’s a good show! :)
