Kelly Clarkson, Kelsea Ballerini, Hey Violet, Why Don’t We, Ayo & Teo, Jacob Sartorius and More Join Host Nick Cannon for “Nickelodeon HALO Awards 2017,” Concert Event Celebrating Kids Who Are Helping and Leading Others, Sunday, Nov. 26, at 7 P.M. (ET/PT) – Some of music’s most popular stars – Kelly Clarkson, Kelsea Ballerini, Hey Violet, Why Don’t We, Ayo & Teo and Jacob Sartorius–are coming together for the Nickelodeon HALO Awards 2017, a one-of-a-kind concert special honoring four young leaders who are changing their communities and the world by “Helping and Leading Others” (HALO). Led by host, creator and executive producer Nick Cannon, the one-hour musical event will also feature Nick stars: JoJo Siwa (Lip Sync Battle Shorties), Lizzy Greene (Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn), Ricardo Hurtado (School of Rock), and Daniella Perkins and Owen Joyner (Knight Squad). Carson Daly’s stepfather passes away: ‘He’s reunited with mom now’ – Carson Daly is enduring another tragic loss.
Just five weeks after the passing of his beloved mother, Pattie Daly Caruso, the TODAY host has revealed his stepdad, Richard Caruso, has died. Richard had been battling bone cancer. The 44-year-old TODAY host shared the news in an Instagram post on Tuesday, just hours after Richard’s passing. “Pops passed away today with absolute dignity & pride. The greatest man we ever knew. Katie Stevens Starring in Horror Thriller ‘Haunt’ – Katie Stevens, from Freeform’s drama The Bold Type, is also starring in Haunt, an indie horror movie that counts scare-master Eli Roth as one of its producers. Scott Beck and Bryan Woods wrote and are directing the movie, which began production this week in Kentucky. YouTube Sets ‘Best.Cover.Ever.’ Singing-Competition Show Premiere Date, Releases Trailer (Watch) – “Best.Cover.Ever.”, a YouTube original series featuring aspiring singers competing to win the chance to sing a duet with their idols, will debut exclusively on the ad-supported video platform worldwide on Nov. 20. The 10-episode show features a lineup of music stars — Katy Perry, Demi Lovato, Keith Urban, Nicky Jam, Backstreet Boys, Joe Jonas’ DNCE, Charlie Puth, Flo Rida, Jason Derulo and and Bebe Rexha — who will judge YouTube fans who have covered one of their songs.
