The Voice Ratings Dip Against World Series

The Voice ratings in the 18-49 demo for the last episode of the Battle Rounds fell below 2.0 for the first time this season. However, the dip is not surprising considering the show was up against Game 1 of the World Series on FOX (which won the night).

Game 1 of the World Series gave FOX a ratings win Tuesday night, but it was down a good amount from last year’s opening game.

The other networks suffered minor drops here and there but were mostly steady opposite the game. “This Is Us” (2.7 in adults 18-49) was off 0.1 from last week’s early rating but still led the night’s non-sports shows by a big margin. “The Voice” (1.9, -0.2) was also down for NBC…
