The news rounds out her already impressive team, comprised of Shawn Mendes manager Andrew Gertler and a recording contract with Island Records and Republic Records. At just 18 years old, the former American Idol contestant has already scored a mainstream pop hit, with her song “Fingers Crossed” climbing to No. 19 on the Billboard Hot 100 in January.
