It’s the America’s Got Talent 2022 Qualifiers 5 LIVE results show. Eleven singers performed Tuesday night, but only TWO will advance to the finale, based solely on America’s vote. At this point, judges Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum and Sofia Vergara have no say in the outcome. Terry Crews hosts.
Before next week’s FINALE, America will pick an 11th finalist via the Instant Save. The coaches pick FOUR wildcards for fans to vote on.

After a prolonged recap of last night’s performances, the Top 11 takes the stage. Simon believes the current season is THE BEST EVAH. Like he says every year. Terry reports that social media hammered Howie after he buzzed and insulted Travis Japan last night. In Japanese, Howie says, “People of Japan, I love you.” He should have apologized.
The first result! Aubrey Burchell, Kristen Cruz and Travis Japan take the stage. Only one is still in the competition. And that is…Kristen Cruz! She was good, plus her social media following is big.
Next, Blade 2 Blade, Shu Takada and Kristy Sellars take the stage. The next act still in it is…Kristy Sellars!
Now, Max Ostler and urbancrew step forward. The next act still in it is….urbandrew!
The Mayyas, Jordan Conley and Mervant Vera step forward. America has voted. The next act still in it is…The Mayyas! But, another is also going through! And that is Mervant Vera! Jordan Conley is eliminated.
Simon believes America has made the correct decision. Terry is TEARING through these results, so the judges can include this week’s eliminated contestants in their Wildcard picks.
Time to reveal the Top 3! The first act in the Top 3 is…Mayyas! The next act in the Top 3 is Mervant Vera. Really? And the third and final act in the Top 3 is…Kristy Sellars!
America has voted! The first act going into the finals is…Mayyas! YAY! The second act going into the finals is…Kristy Sellars!!! YAY.
Next, Simon Cowell introduces a performance from the jukebox musical, & Juliet. The songs are by Max Martin. Simon saw the production in London and loved it. The performance featured the song “Roar” which Katy Perry made famous.
