Gabby Barrett, Walker Hayes Among 5 CRS New Faces of Country Music for 2022 – The lineup for the 2022 CRS New Faces of Country Music concert has been settled. Gabby Barrett and Walker Hayes are among the hitmakers set to perform for the music industry crowd on Feb. 25. The two artists are among five chosen from 11 nominees as New Faces of Country Music. It’s a prestigious honor for a new artist, one handed out annually since 1970. Full-time music industry employees voted in mid-November, ultimately settling on a group that has achieved significant country radio airplay and streaming success in the past year. To qualify as a nominee, an artist needed to have at least one song — but not more than five songs— chart within the Top 25 of radio airplay charts. Luke Combs, Carrie Underwood & more to appear on inaugural ‘Opry Live: USO Holiday Special’ – Luke Combs and Carrie Underwood are performing in the Grand Ole Opry’s first USO show this holiday season. USO Holiday Special will feature additional performances by Josh Turner, Lauren Alaina, Craig Morgan, plus Jessie James Decker and duo The War & Treaty. The show will be hosted by American Idol alum and USO Global Ambassador, Kellie Pickler. “I’ve never worn the uniform, but I’m a proud supporter for those who do.
