Miranda Lambert heartily Endorses Carrie Underwood for CMA Entertainer of the Year.

Carrie has been nominated in the EOTY category several times, but it nearly always goes to a male country star. For Miranda Lambert it’s all about the girl power. In a recent Instagram post, the country star evaluates all the nominees, including Keith Urban, Garth Brooks, Eric Church, and Chris Stapleton. But she’s rooting for Carrie Underwood!

Carrie- The Entertainer Of The Year. Because… Currently being on tour with all female artists, I’ve been thinking a lot about all the work that goes into what we do. The most amazing job in the world. But it ain’t for the faint of heart. @carrieunderwood is on an all female tour too. The Cry Pretty Tour 360. She put out her first single in 2005 and from then on country music was changed for good. That iconic voice has been classin’ up our stages, charts and televisions for a decade and a half. The Voice. The legs. The songs. The brand. The mom. The wife. The okie. The Jesus lover. The blonde bombshell that is Carrie. She blows me away every time I hear her sing. She never wavers in who she is or what she stands for. She has stayed true & pushed herself to be better. If you have never heard her sing “How Great Thou Art” do yourself a favor and listen. I have her back in this picture and I’ll always have her back. So for the sake of sequins, spanx and spray tans, take it home! You Carrie the torch! ?#Carrieon #EOTY

Scotty McCreery Showed Musical Promise at a VERY Young Age – From there, McCreery’s musical aspirations continued to rise. When he rode the school bus to Timber Drive Elementary School, McCreery put on concerts in the back of the bus — and if his voice was half as good as it is now, his fellow bus riders certainly got a great show. “He started singing Elvis on the back of the bus,” longtime friend Brett Bailey says. “It was almost like a mini Elvis concert on the back of the school bus.” – Read more at BigCountry 969

Clay Aiken: Why I support Joe Biden, our strongest ally – Thursday night, on the eve of National Coming Out Day, the most diverse field of presidential candidates yet will gather for a historic town hall to discuss their visions and agendas for LGBTQ equality. The richness of their backgrounds and experiences makes me proud to be a Democrat. Indeed, all of their ideas are necessarily bold and meaningful. But I believe there is no one in the field who has done more, with results to show for it, to advance the rights and welfare of LGBTQ people and everyday Americans, than Joe Biden. He has a progressive vision to build on that success. – Read more at CNN.com
