Former Fort Myers American Idol contestant ‘Baby V’ offers advice to Casey Bishop – Solomon was the Fort Myers American Idol contestant that made it to the Top 3 during season 4. It was 17 years ago when she brought American Idol to Centennial Park in Fort Myers. “I still look at the footage from Idol and I’m like… that was me? I don’t even believe that was me,” Solomon said. Since then, Solomon has been all over the world, performing on stages and cruise ships. “Just being able to travel and see the world, it really shapes your view of the world, your life,” she said. “I found out I love music. It’s my first love but I have a lot of other gifts to give to the world as well.” One of those gifts is a new beauty line Solomon just launched for lashes and hair extensions. She also has a new single dropping this week, all of which was made possible by being on American Idol. “I think Casey is doing an amazing job,” Solomon said.
