She said on social media, captioning a photo of her first Opry appearance in 2010, “I wish I could tell this sweet, young girl that stepped in that circle for the first time on June 10, 2011 one DEBUT will become an official member of the Grand Ole Opry, and that day is February 12, 2022. I’m. Not. Well. See you there.” BONUS APPEARANCE! The Voice 21 runner-up Wendy Moten is also on the Opry bill tonight! It’s her first appearance at the show since competing on The Voice.

And speaking of the Opry, American Idol 4 winner, Carrie Underwood, a member in good standing, stopped by a 3rd and 4th grade class musical about the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville. The Opry twitter account quipped, “…might we say, they nailed the set design! What a fun surprise for these hardworking students – especially the student who played Carrie!”
