After a sneak peek aired on last night’s (Oct 20) The Voice, Gwen Stefani’s “Baby Don’t Lie” full official music video makes it’s VEVO premiere!
The video, a contemporary re-imagining of The Wizard of Oz, is colorful, trippy fun. Gwen sashays her way down a golden road, gathering a cast of outrageous characters on her way. At the end, it all rewinds, and the singer is left where she began albeit wiser after her little adventure.
It’s been 8 years since Gwen’s last solo effort, yet, the No Doubt frontwoman once again stands on her own in a BIG way. I have to confess–the song’s propulsive rhythms are now stuck in my head in an endless loop…
