We’ve got some Broadway Rock of Ages news! That Big Brother stint was good for Frankie J Grande (being the big brother of pop singer, Ariana Grande probably doesn’t hurt either!). The exposure has likely helped earn the reality star and self described “social media mogul” a role in the Broadway musical, Rock of Ages.
And in other news, American Idol alum, Constantine Maroulis, has extended his return engagement as Drew through January 18, 2015.
Frankie will step into the role of Franz–the son of the developer who aims to destroy the rock n roll vibe of the sunset strip–beginning November 10.
“Ever since my first role on Broadway, I have dreamed of playing Franz. I couldn’t be more excited to finally get this opportunity, especially alongside this incredible cast,” Frankie said in a statement.
“We are beyond thrilled to have Frankie return to Broadway and join the cast of Rock of Ages,” added producer Scott Prisand. “With his exceptional, triple-threat talent and effervescent personality, he is the perfect match for our show and the role of the hilarious and endearing Franz.”
