It’s the end of an era! The Glee cast shot the last scenes of the 6 season series on Saturday (2/21). All week, the cast has been posting behind the scenes photos to social media, along with heartfelt goodbyes. Lea Michele became a little emotional when she shot her last Glee musical performance ever. Jane Lynch’s (Sue) last day on set was Friday.
On Thursday, a slew of Glee alum came back to shoot the series ending number that will serve as a curtain call for a show that has meant so much to so many. Glee favorites who joined the regulars on set included, Dianna Agron (Quinn), Mike O’Malley (Burt), Jacob Artist (Jake), Blake Jenner (Ryder), Melissa Benoist (Marley), Alex Newell (Unique), Ashley Fink (Lauren), Max Adler (Karofsky), Vanessa Lengies (Sugar), Naya Rivera (Santana), Heather Morris (Brittany), Mark Salling (Puck), Jayma Mays (Emma), Jessalyn Gilsig (Terri), Samuel Larsen (Joe), Dijon Talton (Matt), Jonathan Groff (Jesse), and more.

Lea Michele: I can’t believe tomorrow is our last day at glee. It is going to be such an emotional day. But I’m so grateful though to have had this incredibly amazing experience. ETA: Matthew Morrison told E News last night at the Weinstein Company’s pre-Oscar party at the Montage in Beverly Hills.
“It was a tough day. I’m not going to cry now because I kind of got it all out, but it was a really tough day.”
Morrison sings the final song in the final scene of the series finale. I’m not going to spoil anything by telling you what song, but Morrison said, “It was a beautiful send-off. But it was tough. I was singing to all the kids and Amber Riley starts crying and I’m like, ‘Come on, don’t do this to me right now.’ And then Lea Michele starts crying and then Darren Criss and Chris Colfer.”
Although filming is over, there are still 4 more weeks of Glee before we say goodbye to the gang forever. The series finale airs on Friday March 20.
