Gabby Barrett New Song ‘Glory Days’ Hits the Country Charts

Gabby Barrett

When Gabby Barrett dropped her new single “Glory Days” earlier this month, the American Idol 2018 alum marked her second time in the coveted most-added position at Country radio. Seventy-seven stations added the song in her first week–the most first-week adds for a female artist in the genre in 14 months.

For the week of June 24, “Glory Days” debuted on the Billboard Country Airplay chart at No. 28.

“Oh my goodness, Country radio – I just love y’all,” Gabby shared in a press statement. “This song’s simple message means so much to me and my family, and it brings me so much joy to know it’s really connecting with everyone.”

Gabby Barrett co-wrote and co-produced “Glory Days”

“Glory Days” is the first release off of Gabby’s upcoming sophomore album. She co-wrote and co-produced the song. Writing alongside Emily Weisband, Seth Mosley, and James McNair, the lyrics lay out a humble world of family and faith – filled with quiet mornings, front porch swings, and pure gratitude for the little things. The song begins the next chapter after a record-setting career launch and the start of her family, and mirrors her real life. Gabby produced the song with Ross Copperman.

The show is included in all game tickets for the Cincinnati Reds vs. Pittsburgh Pirates game that night. Tickets are available now at pirates.com/gabby. Click this link for more tour info.

Chart topper

Surpassing 2.8 Billion global career streams, Gabby premieres her sophomore album with new single “Glory Days.” Platinum “Pick Me Up” off the Deluxe version of her top-streaming Platinum album, Goldmine, followed mega breakout 7X Platinum #1 “I Hope”; 4-week Hot AC #1 crossover “I Hope (feat. Charlie Puth)”; and 3X Platinum three-week #1 “The Good Ones.”

Ruling the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart for a record-breaking 27 weeks, “I Hope” was the first debut single by a solo female artist to top the Country radio charts since 2017 and made her the youngest artist with a #1 debut at Country radio in over two decades.
