FOX Renews The Masked Singer for Season 10
On Monday (May 15) Rob Wade, CEO, FOX Entertainment, today unveiled the FOX content slate for the 2023-2024 television season to the national advertising community during its in-person Upfront Presentation at the Manhattan Center.
The network will not release the fall schedule until June, but it did confirm that The Masked Singer is renewed for season 10. The ratings have come down to earth compared to the highs of the first few seasons. In fact, the series notched season lows last week. Plus Survivor, American Idol and The Voice garner higher ratings in the key 18-49 ratings on the regular. But the show still earns solid numbers for a network series.
The Masked Singer season 9 finale is set to air Wednesday May 17 featuring host Nick Cannon and Robin Thicke, Jenny McCarthy, Ken Jeong and Nicole Scherzinger on the judges panel.
Other reality shows returning to the FOX slate include: Farmer Wants a Wife, Hell’s Kitchen, I Can See Your Voice, LEGO Masters, Name That Tune, Next Level Chef and Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test. Additionally, Gordon Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares returns to FOX with an all-new season of restaurant makeovers. Also, LEGO Masters will air its second multiple-night holiday event LEGO Masters: Celebrity Holiday Bricktacular.
New music guessing game hosted by Jamie Foxx
Also, FOX will introduce a new music guessing game hosted and executive-produced by Jamie Foxx and co-hosted by his daughter, Corinne Foxx. Showcasing non-famous relatives of celebrities performing duets with their hidden famous family member, We Are Family will feature a studio audience entirely comprised of 100 contestants playing through multiple rounds of clues and gameplay to win up to $100,000 each by correctly guessing which celebrity the performer is related to before they are revealed. Celebrities appearing on We Are Family will range from musicians and professional athletes to actors and beyond.
Jamie Foxx is currently recovering from a health event at a Chicago rehabilitation hospital. Meanwhile his daughter is covering hosting duties on his summer series Beat Shazam.
