The Masked Singer 10 drops first promo portraits of donut and hawk
The Masked Singer returns to FOX for Season 10 beginning Wednesday, Sept. 27 at 8 p.m. ET. Ahead of the fall season, the network has dropped a new promo. “The rumble is coming,” the new spot declares as new costumes parade across the screen against a backdrop of the Skrillex song, “Rumble.” Additionally, FOX has dropped portraits of two costumes, Donut and Hawk.
“In honor of its milestone 10th season, The Masked Singer is celebrating with the biggest and boldest costumes in the show’s history – with the buzziest and brightest celebrities underneath!” The new promo reveals. “The Emmy Award-nominated singing competition features host Nick Cannon, alongside fan favorite panelists Jenny McCarthy, Nicole Scherzinger, Ken Jeong and Robin Thicke. The season will feature the return of special theme nights and unforgettable show-stopping performances that will keep you guessing.”

The costumes teased appear to be: Witch, a thing with straw hat, donut, hawk, a mustachioed costume wearing a marshmallow hat, the donut again, what looks like a red vegetable, and more repeats.

Last spring, The Masked Singer crowned singer-songwriter Bishop Briggs, as Medusa, the winner, while American Idol alum David Archuleta as the Macaw came in second.
The Masked Singer is a top-secret singing competition in which celebrities face off against one another while shrouded from head to toe in an elaborate costume, concealing his or her identity. With each performance, the host, panelists, audience, viewers and even the other contestants are left guessing who is singing behind the mask. The singers may attempt to throw off the crowd, but keen observers might pick up on tiny clues buried throughout the show. Each week, a singer is eliminated — and then reveals his or her true identity.
