Fifth Harmony fans used social media to help unlock (Ugh. Hate this trend so much. But I digress) the cover of the X Factor alums’ debut album.

Yesterday, Camelia tweeted that the group was finished recording and to expect the record in the fall:

Next stop…the MTV VMAs! Fifth Harmony will perform at the Video Music Awards pre-show. The group is also nominated in the “Artist to Watch” category, so watch that red carpet! You never know–the gals could walk away with a coveted Moon Man. The VMAs air Sunday, August 24.

The girls strike a sassy pose. What do you think of Fifth Harmony’s new album cover?

  1. aren’t these girls teenagers? makes them look a lot older than they are.

  2. Looks very familiar. Still better than Kris’ washed out photo or Caleb’s amateurish monstrosity.

  3. The girls are nominated with Sam Smith…I think its fair to say they have no shot.

  4. Yeah, they look old…but they do look good. Not a whole lot of creativity going into this cover, but I hope it does well for them.

  5. If you’re talking about the cover for Horizons, I happen to love that cover a whole lot. The photo is perfect.

  6. Unless its a Disney or Nick act, teen pop artists are going to be made over to look more mature. Especially girls in their late teens.

  7. It’s a fan voted thing though, right? I don’t know if the girls’ fan base is big enough, but the winners of the VMAs are usually popular–not necessarily talented.

There’s NO confusing the VMAs with the Grammys.

  8. No offense they do have talent though but not as much as Sam smith but ur right vmas tend to surprise.

  9. But even still…”Stay with Me” has been huge. I just don’t know.

  10. I don’t like the cover one bit tbh. At least their other material for the album is really great. Hoping they declare BO$$ a flop and move to Reflection or Going Nowhere as the second single ASAP. (ideally I wish they’d just forget BO$$ and say it’s a buzz track)

  11. If it’s “fan” voted like the TCAs are it doesn’t matter how many fans someone have- since they notify the “winners” week(s) before voting is closed.

  12. I don’t think it’s a bad cover at all but when it comes to VMA predictions I’d say their biggest competition is really 5 Seconds of Summer. Because even though Sam Smith was huge this year (and he still has a shot) It’s all about who’s fan base will pull for them and most of the time they’re never the ones that we predict to win.

  13. Meh. They look good, but it isn’t exciting at all. And I’m pretty sure those are the same outfits they were wearing in the Bo$$ video.

  14. I love love that 5th Harmony new album cover! Striking pose and talented young girls. Their Miss Movin’ On single was certified Gold by the RIAA in June 2014. Cant wait for their new album to come out.

  15. TBH, I’m not sure where all their buzz is coming from. I’ve yet to hear any of their songs on mainstream CHR radio.

  16. Normani owns everything about their new stuff… her sass and sex appeal in Bo$$ was out of this world!
