Fifth Harmony Set to Debut as Quartet at People’s Choice Awards 2017

Fifth Harmony will be performing live at the People’s Choice Awards on Wednesday, Jan. 18 from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.

The performance will mark the first time members Ally Brooke, Dinah Jane, Lauren Jauregui and Normani Kordei take the stage since Camila Cabello’s exit from the group in December 2016.

The X Factor USA season 2 singers are also nominated for “Favorite Group” — a category which they won in 2016.

After Camila’s bumpy exit from the group, the remaining Fifth Harmony members assured fans in a statement posted via Instagram that the group would move forward with the four remaining members.

“…we are excited to announce that we will be moving forward with the four of us — Ally Brooke, Normani Kordei, Dinah Jane and Lauren Jauregui for our fans. We are four, strong committed women who will continue with Fifth Harmony as well as our solo endeavors.”

In addition to their PCA performance, there are reports that Fifth Harmony resigned with Syco/Epic records and are set to record their third album to be released in 2017. Reportedly, the negotiations are ongoing based on the success of their current album, 7/27, which dropped in May of 2016, and resulted in the hit singles, “Work from Home,” All In My Head (Flex),” and “That’s My Girl.”

Hosted by The Great Indoors star Joel McHale, People’s Choice Awards 2017 will air live from the Microsoft Theater, Wednesday, January 18, 2017, on the CBS Television Network (9:00-11:00 PM, ET/delayed PT).
