Despite earning strong scores from the judges last night (Read our Recap), American Idol favorite, Jordin Sparks and her pro partner Brandon Armstrong were eliminated in 9th place from Dancing with the Stars on Monday (Oct 31). The good news is that Tuesday morning the season 6 winner announced NEW music!
Halloween night featured Jordin and her partner dressed in costume performing an Argentine Tango. But even after earning a 36 out of 40 points, it was not enough to keep her in the competition. Jordin and Brandon were in the bottom two alongside Heidi D’Amelio and Artem Chigvintsev. Judges Derek Hough and Bruno Tonioli voted to keep Jordin. But despite praising the couple and declaring it their best routine so far, Len Goodman broke the tie, sending them home.

While Jordin was not expecting to leave the competition so soon, she told ET Canada that she’s OK with going home. “I’m actually good,” she said. “I made it a lot further than I actually thought that I was going to.” She added, “I surprised myself every single week for what I could actually do with this body…as well as being able to make great friends, having a once in a lifetime experience.”
Jordin would say yes if DWTS asked her back for an All-Star season
If DWTS did an All-Stars season, she would definitely say yes! The experience has made Jordin feel like a “new person” like she is “stepping into a new stage of my life.”
“I’m actually very happy,” Jordin told People after the show. “The judges have been amazing to me all season. I’ve grown so much on this journey. I am sad to go home, but I am really happy to sleep in tomorrow and to get a massage and to get some physical therapy and to spend time with my son. So there’s lots of silver linings.”
“I’m happy that I made it a difficult decision for them.”

“It gets tougher as the weeks go by, and everybody is good,” Jordin said about the judges split decision. “Everybody has people that love them and adore them at home. So it’s tough,” she continued. “I was watching the judges actually. They really were grappling with who they wanted to save, so I’m happy that I made it a difficult decision for them.”
And to think, Jordin almost changed her mind about doing the show. “I almost didn’t do this at all,” she shared with People. “About a month before, my stomach was in knots just thinking about it because I was so nervous and I almost pulled out of this. And my son and my husband were like, ‘No, you can do this. You got it. It’s OK.’ And I’m really glad I did it.”
Jordin will release a new song “Stop This Feeling on November 11
Now for that NEW MUSIC. This morning, Jordin announced on social media that she’s dropping a song “Stop This Feeling” on November 11. Maybe Brandon can choreograph the music video! The is available to presave now. “I can’t wait for you to groove to this,” Jordin wrote.
