  1. It is hard for me to understand why this song is so successful…the only reason I can come up with is that CD has a great recording voice (although not so great live).
But I am sure, others will disagree…

  2. springboard, I love everything about this song… the lyrics and message, the music, I love how the tempo changes up mid-song. I think it was a good choice for a single. If you’re not a Daughtry connoisseur, check out Call Your Name from LTT. He also changes up the tempo but it’s a much more dramatic change – lower lows and higher highs (TM David Cook).

  3. Thanks for posting! They sounded really good…it’s always iffy on these shows with different acoustics and stuff. I’ve seen them live A LOT (I don’t even know how many times) and can honestly say that Chris sounds AMAZING in concert!! It’s not always perfect but I’ll take live over recorded any time.

  4. Love this song, my favorite off the album. I also love the story the lyrics tell & how the album title is taken from the lyrics on the bridge. I’m really happy it’s doing so well.

  5. This song has grown on me, I wasn’t a big fan at first. I will agree that Call your name is much better, that song sends shivers up my spine.

  6. Thanks for posting it, Mj. Loved it and some nice words from George on the end.
