Danny Gokey invited fellow American Idol alum David Archuleta to appear in his latest music video, “Noche De Paz.” The song, a Spanish language version of “Silent Night,” is featured on Danny’s new Christmas album, The Greatest Gift.

“David Archuleta’s season (season 7) on American Idol was the very first season that I ever watched the show,” Danny, who appeared on season 8, told People. “Watching him and those on that season is what inspired me to pursue my journey the following year.”
The singer added: “I have always loved his voice and was grateful that he joined me on this song. I absolutely loved how it came out.”
The album features Danny– who was recently nominated for best contemporary Christian music performance/song and best contemporary Christian music album ahead of next month’s Grammys–sings other holiday classics including “Joy To The World” and “Angels We Have Heard On High.”
David recently released a deluxe version of his 2018 Christmas album Winter in the Air, and dropped a cover of ‘NSYNC’s “Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays.” The music video featured group members Lance Bass and Chris Kirkpatrick.
