American Idol 14 boasted several teenaged contestants in their Top 24. Two singers, Daniel Seavey and Lovey James, were amongst the youngest–15 and 17 years old respectively. While Lovey was eliminated in the Top 24 semi-final, Daniel sang his way to the Top 9.
This summer, the American Idol Live tour only took the Top 5 contestants out on the road, instead of the usual Top 10 Daniel isn’t out singing with the rest of the Idols as he would have been in prior seasons. But that doesn’t mean he can’t make music for his fans to enjoy.
Daniel and Lovey join forces here to deliver a lovely, acoustic rendition of Charlie Puth’s “See You Again,” with Daniel accompanying the duo on piano. The clip was uploaded to Lovey’s 8,000 + subscriber Youtube channel and was soon posted by a few media outlets including Just Jared Jr. In a little over 24 hours the video racked up over 10,000 views! Excellent.
