Sales News – Week Ending 07/23/15

The sales week is over and Future looks to be topping the chart. The rapper has solidified his fan base (and his future) by dropping mix tape and that is paying off now. He is expected to do a very respectable 130-135K in sales with another 15K in TEAs and SEAs. His first album opened with 41K for 8th on the BB200 while his 2014 album did 53K for 2nd on the chart. So, this will be his first number one.

Other debuts in the top 10 this week are from country stalwart Alan Jackson (2), singer-songwriter Jason Isbell (4)and Australian rockers Tame Impala (5). Tyrese who was number one last week will slide to around 3rd with Talor Swift 6th in sales and somewhat higher on the combined charts. The Kidz are doing okay in their second week for 7th in sales followed by rapper Meek Mill (8), muppet Ed Sheeran (9) and singer-songwriter Sam Hunt.

Tori Kelly is 42nd on the building chart and she is also featured along with Kelly Clarkson and One Direction on Now 54 at 16th.
