Dancing With The Stars – Top 6 – Performance – VIDEO

Ok, Brooke and Derek are good, but a perfect score? I think the judges were feeling guilty for dissing their pets last week. That’s the first perfect score awarded this season. At this point, I’ll be shocked if Brooke and Derek don’t take it all. The only couple challenging them right now is Lance and Lacey, and well, Len doesn’t really like their style. I thought their rumba tonight was pretty fabulous–so did Carrie Ann and Bruno–who gave them 9’s. But then Len had to spoil it all with his 7. Boo! He brought their scores down 25. Couple that with their participation in the disastrous Team Cha cha cha, and their total score puts them in 4th place for the night. Yikes.

Before tonight’s episode, I was convinced thatMaurice and Cheryl were on the way out. But they came roaring back this week with a pretty nifty cha cha cha that earned them a respectable 25 points. Participation in the victorious Team Paso put them in second place for the night. They aren’t going anywhere this week.

Going home this week, I believe, will be Susan and Tony. Their Paso was pretty awesome, but nearly everyone was good tonight. She’s in next to last place ahead of Cody. I think Cody’s fanbase plus the pity vote will save him and Edyta this week.

The Team dances: Team cha cha cha was a trainwreck. However, I do agree with Len, their routine was tougher than Team Paso’s. Poor Lance and Lacey danced their asses off, but had to take one for the team. Susan Lucci is super-terrible in the group dances. All three couples on Team Paso danced great solos. My money’s on the Paso team dance to be picked for the encore on Wednesday.

Speaking of Wednesday. The results show has been moved this week to 8 pm Wednesday due to tomorrow’s election coverage.

Appearing on Wednesday results show, will be Lionel Richie performing …Dancing on the Ceiling accompanied by dance pros Cheryl, Maks, Kym and Tony. He’ll also sing his new single, …Good Morning accompanied by Edyta and Alec.

Plus, the dance center will return, with Kenny Mayne and Jerry Rice from season two taking part, along with head judge Len Goodman.

Live recap and Video after the JUMP…

Tonight: First ever Team Dances! Len is back. And he’s wearing a jaunty hat! YAY!

Team Cha Cha vs Team Paso Doble! Whoa, those spoilers were WRONG!

Warren and Kym – Foxtrot – Whoa, the judges did not like that! Warren blames it on his shoes. Warren did look uncomfortable during the dance–not his usual light-footed self. – Carrie Ann – 7, Len – 7, Bruno – 7 – 21 + 29 = 50 – 1-800-868-3413.

Susan and Tony – Paso Doble – In the video package, Susan and Tony are fighting. Tony tells Susan to ROAR. And, she kinda does. The Paso was perfect for Susan, because acting skills go far in this dance. Susan and Tony rebound this week. The judges love it. Carrie Ann – 8, Len – 8, Bruno – 8 – 24 + 20 = 441-800-868-3411

Maurice and Cheryl – Cha cha cha – Maurice hyper-extended his leg during rehearsal on Saturday. He’s limping. But, he’s not dancing like he’s injured. This dance has lots of verve and sass. Judges like! Len says it was his best dance. – Carrie Ann – 8, Len – 9, Bruno – 8 – 25 + 29 = 541-800-868-3404

Cody and Edyta – Viennese Waltz – Cody and Edyta visit Julianne. She gives Edyta some tips. Eh, I still think Cody looks gawky on the dance floor. Carrie Ann liked it, but Len and Bruno (“clumsy” he called it) not so much. Carrie Ann – 8, Len – 7, Bruno – 7 – 22 + 20 = 421-800-868-3401

Lance and Lacey – Rumba – OMG Lance broke his toe last week! And they plan to dance the Rhumba barefoot. And they are fighting and Lacey is crying. Then they make up. These two are my favorite couple right now. They’re fun to watch and they have chemistry. Good stuff. Mixed results–Bruno and Carrie Ann love it, Len hates the barefoot crap. Carrie Ann – 9, Len – 7, Bruno – 9 – 25 + 20 = 451-800-868-3407

Brooke and Derek – Foxtrot – The team reassesses after last week’s disappointing scores. A very elegant foxtrot. Brooke is back! And yes, the judges are thrilled. I’ll bet they get ridiculously high scores. YEP RIDICULOUS. Carrie Ann – 10, Len – 10, Bruno – 10 – 30 + 29 = 591-800-868-3405

Team dances are next

Susan and Warren are Team captains

Team Cha cha cha – Susan and Tony, Lance and Lacey, and Cody and Edyta – Susan doesn’t want to be the weak link, but I bet she will be. And she was pretty bad. The judges thought Lance and Lacey were the best, but otherwise, they were disappointed. Carrie Ann – 6 Len – 7 Bruno 7 – 20 Ouch.

Team Paso – Warren and Kym, Maurice and Cheryl and Brooke and Derek – There wasn’t a whole lotta “team” in that dance. It was like 3 solos. pretty awesome, otherwise. The judges are going crazy. Team cha cha cha is getting creamed. At least Len mentions that Team Paso had it easier. Carrie Ann – 10, Len – 9, Bruno – 10 – 29.
