DANCING WITH THE STARS – TOM BERGERON, LINDSEY STIRLING, MARK BALLAS (ABC/Eric McCandless)
Dancing with the Stars premiere garnering a 1.7 rating in the 18-49 demo was down 11 and 19 percent from its previous two openers to mark all-time premiere lows. Ouch.
FOX’s So You Think You Can Dance didn’t fare much better. Its 0.6 rating in the key demo matched the show’s season low demo. And it drew 2.1 million viewers–an all-time low audience. Such a shame, because season 14 has been one of the best in the show’s history. Incredible choreography and performances to rival ANY season.
