Dancing With The Stars has cast its first contestant for the upcoming season. Former Bachelorette Kaitlyn Bristowe will take a twirl on the dance floor.
The Bachelor franchise host, Chris Harrison, popped the question, so to speak on Monday’s (June 15) episode of The Bachelor: The Greatest Seasons – Ever! The episode recapped Kaitlyn’s 2015 Bachelorette episode.
“Kaitlyn, will you be on the next season of Dancing With the Stars?,” Chris asked. “I’m shaking. Oh my gosh.” Bristowe replied. “Chris, I feel like I’m going to cry.”
Dancing with the Stars is returning for its 29th season later this year. No date has been set yet, due to coronavirus concerns. Additionally, the judges panel is in flux. Head judge, Len Goodman will probably have to sit out the season, stuck in the UK due to the Covid-19 travel ban. However, Bruno Tonioli will probably choose Dancing with the Stars over the UK’s Strictly Come Dancing. He usually flies between the UK and the US every week to participate in both.
Watch Chris interview Kaitlyn Bristowe and her boyfriend Jason Tartick from Becca Kufrin’s season. Chris springs the question at the end of the interview. She seems truly surprised.
