Chris Rock and Prince Set for Saturday Night Live November 1

Saturday Night Live has announced, via twitter, that Chris Rock will return to Studio 8H to host the show, on November 1. And even better? The musical guest will be Prince!

Whoo hoo. I’m looking forward to that. But don’t be disappointed if there aren’t videos. Prince is super weird about the internet.

According to the SNL twitter, Chris Rock, hasn’t appeared on the SNL stage in 18 years!  The comedien was an SNL cast member from 1990 to 1993. His last appearance was in 1996, as host with the Wallflowers as musical guests.  It’s the 3rd SNL appearance for Prince.

HA HA HA

  1. it’s a shame this won’t be on some HBO-like channel instead of NBC

  2. Have never seen SNL so can’t comment on that…just wanted to say that I really, really, really dislike Chris Rock……so wouldn’t be watching even If I could!!!

  3. Looks like it will be a good show. Does Prince have a new album coming out?

  4. Chris is capable of toning things down for network tv and still be funny. He’s not one of my favorite comedians but I bet he’ll be up for anything. I’m thinking this will be a good show.

  5. Yes, he is definitely capable of toning things down, he was on network tv for years, including SNL. Not one of my favorites, but usually when a former castmember comes back the shows are good.

  6. Prince just released two CDs. One under his own name (Art Official Age) and one under 3rd Eye Girl (his band name 3, females) (PlectrumElectrun). I need to pick both up. I think they came out last week.

    ETA name of CDs
