Chris Colfer Promotes Land of Stories Series – The View, GMA (VIDEOS)

Chris Colfer is making the rounds of New York City media to promote his new book, The Land of Stories: A Grimm Warning. It’s the third book in his New York Times best selling series, written for children (and beyond, of course!).

Naturally, Chris was asked about last week’s unfortunate twitter hack. No, he’s not leaving Glee! And yes, his twitter password was strong. Chris displayed general frustration with having his privacy violated and wondered about the hacker’s motivations.  Also on GMA this morning, Chris dishes about playing the young Noel Coward in the British bio-pic, Noel, set to begin filming next year.

This morning, Chris visited The View and Good Morning America. Later tonight, Check out the Glee star on the Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon.

The View

The ladies of The View are all fans of the Land of Stories series.  Chris thanked Whoopi in his acknowledgements because the sometime Glee guest star (She plays the director of NYADA, the NYC drama school Kurt attends) has encouraged and complimented Chris on his literary ambitions.  Also, Chris talks about how his cat, Brian was none too pleased when Cooper, a golden retriever rescue pup, joined the family.  Also, the final season of Glee will air at midseason on FOX. Chris revealed his hopes for his character, Kurt as the musical comedy comes to an end after 6 seasons.

Good Morning America

Chris talks twitter hacker (whom he calls a “jerk”) and his Land of Stories children’s series with GMA host, George Stephanopoulos.  Chris not only discusses his book, but dishes a little on the Noel Coward biopic he’ll begin shooting next year. Chris will play the young Noel, co-starring with British luminaries, Ian McKellen and Vanessa Redgrave.
