Chris Colfer responds..with humor. The fruit truck refers to an actual rumor that was going around about his death–one of those random headline generator deals that got out of hand a few years ago:
Apparently I missed quite the INTERESTING day while aboard my flight. I’m just glad I wasn’t “killed by a fruit truck” again.

Chris was on his way back from London when the craziness went down on Friday. A couple of days ago, Joe Stephenson, the director of Noel, tweeted that the two were meeting. Noel is the Noel Coward biopic the actor is getting ready to film.
UPDATED: Chris’s manager tells THR that the star’s verified Twitter account has been hacked and that the actor WILL be back for the final season of the Fox musical.
Twentieth Century FOX has also released a statement, confirming the hack and Chris’ return to Glee for its final season.
We’ve been alerted that Chris Colfer’s Twitter account has been hacked. Rumors of his dismissal from Glee could not be further from the truth. We love Chris and look forward to working with him again this season.
WHAT THE ACTUAL EFF? Chris Colfer has been let go from Glee? WHY? Does this have something to do with his schedule for Noel? Chris is starring in a biopic of Noel Coward. It’s being produced and shot in the UK, with filming set to begin late summer. I have a feeling Glee producers had an issue with the scheduling.
Glee will begin production of its 6th and final season in July or August. It hasn’t been confirmed yet, but this last season will be a short 10-13 episodes. Last season’s ratings were abysmal. The only reason its coming back at all is because ex-FOX chief, Kevin Reilly, signed a two year renewal in 2013 for two more seasons.
