The Voice Voting Rounds Begin Week of November 5, Will Compete with X Factor

Next week, The Voice pool of 40 contestants will be cut down to 20 in the “Knockout Rounds.” The following week, 20 will become 12 as the live rounds begin. Viewers will vote to advance two members from each team, while each coach chooses a contestant to advance to the next round.

Once the Top 12 competition begins, the lowest 2 vote getters will be sent home every week regardless of which team they come from.

The Voice is down 6/1oths from last week, but it aired against the 7th game of the NLCS baseball playoffs. The rating stayed about 4.0, which is still pretty damn good. I would say The Voice fixed their Battle Rounds problem.

Yup. That’s right NBC. Kick Simon Cowell RIGHT WHERE IT HURTS. The Voice will get the LIVE shows started during election week with a 3 NIGHT EXTRAVAGANZA. And since Tuesday night will be all about the American presidential election, The Voice will go head to head with the X Factor on Wednesday and Thursday.
