The song is the first single from the American Idol runner-up’s debut album Me, You and The Music,  and features pop star (and co-writer) Ne-Yo.

We finally have some news on Jessica Sanchez’s Glee arc.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Jessica will guest star as “a legendary singer from a rival high school” on the May 2 episode, She’ll also appear a week later on the May 9 season finale.

Jessica Sanchez will release her debut single “Tonight” to Amazon on March 22, a day after she performs the song with Ne-Yo on the American Idol results show.

Those of us who got to hear the Jessica Sanchez single, “Tonight”–a collaboration with co-writer Ne-Yo-know that the tune is upbeat and clubby–a real departure from the emotional ballads she sang on Idol.

I am pretty confident “Heart” a seemingly new song from Jessica Sanchez, was recorded pre-Idol, but her fans seem to be enjoying it nevertheless.

Great news for those of you waiting for the debut single from Jessica Sanchez.

According to Video Static, a site that lists music videos in production, the American Idol runner-up is about to embark on a shoot for her single “Tonight” and it looks like her duet partner on the song, Ne-Yo will be involved!
