Kelly Clarkson posts on her facebook that she’ll be releasing a single in July: “I’m just as anxious to get my cd out! The recording is all done and now we’re finishing up with mixing the record and getting ready to release the single in July.”

UPDATE: TV Guide Magazine tweets, “This just in from Fox: Wednesday’s @AmericanIdol will be 2 hours and the @BreakingInonFOX finale moves to Tuesday (5/17, 9:31/8:31c)”
That would mean Wednesday’s performance show would be stretched to two hours. The remaining 3 contestants sing 3 songs each, so that’s 9 songs. “Breaking In” has not been doing well in the ratings, so it’s no loss to move it.
‘Dancing with the Stars’ Pro — Rushed to Hospital
“Dancing with the Stars” pro Kym Johnson was rushed to the hospital moments ago — after sustaining an injury during rehearsals for the show … TMZ has learned.
Johnson — who’s paired up with Pittsburgh Steelers great Hines Ward — took a nasty spill while rehearsing with the NFLer for an upcoming show.
According to her rep, Johnson was taken to an L.A. area hospital for “precautionary measures to assure she is OK.”

Two Idols are set to play the Lays stage at the CMA music fest next month in Nashville. Bo Bice will perform June 12 and Casey James on June 9.

Carrie Underwood to participate in CMT tornado benefit
Alan Jackson, Gretchen Wilson, Little Big Town, Trace Adkins and The Blind Boys of Alabama are performing for Thursday night’s “Music Builds: The CMT Disaster Relief Concert.”
The special will air live at 9 p.m. EDT from The Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, Tenn., with proceeds going to the American Red Cross. President Barack Obama, Shania Twain, Carrie Underwood, Taylor Swift and Alabama coach Nick Saban are scheduled to give video messages.

Kelly Clarkson to play Sudbury Arena in August
EZ Rock and the Human League are proud to present Kelly Clarkson at the Sudbury Arena on Saturday, August 6th, at 8pm.
The concert wraps up the week-long Playing for Change event, which features the 14th Annual NHL Legends golf tournament, the Bryan Trottier Hockey Camp, and a live performance by Kelly Clarkson, American Idol’s first winner and reigning queen.
