The Masked Singer 11 Group B FINALS: Who Was Unmasked on Soundtrack of My Life Night?

The Masked Singer season 11 Group B finals will UNMASK and send two acts home and one to the Quarterfinals. The night features songs that define the celebrity masks’ lives. Nick Cannon hosts, while Robin Thicke, Jenny McCarthy, and Ken Jeong sit on the judges panel alongside new judge, Rita Ora.

The returning mystery celebrities include Group B contestants The Beets, Gumball and Seal. The finalists open the night with a performance “It’s My Life” by Bon Jovi.

The Beets

Clues: We know Beets are Clay Aiken and Ruben Studdard. FOX previewed this performance earlier today. A single moment in your life that defines your life. For both, it was becoming fathers. OH LOOK THERE’S BANANA SPLITS A CLUE A BIG CLUE. David Foster and American Idol alum Katharine Mcphee! Here’s a fun fact: Their kiddo and Clay Aiken’s kiddo are FIRST COUSINS! (Clay’s baby mama is David Foster’s sister). “I’m teaching my son to drive.” They are both fathers. Ruben and his wife recently had a baby girl, and Clay’s son, born in 2008 would be about driving age now.

Performance: One Moment in Time by Whitney Houston. It’s like an American Idol coronation song, ya’ll. And that’s fitting. The judges are on their feet. On Stage Clue: Fresh Beets with Nick. “A Wild Night.” Beets says, “Nick always good seeing you, we should grab a drink again soon (Ruben said that.). Rita realizes they aren’t actors. She guesses Shawn Stockman and another Boyz II Men member. Ken guesses Josh Groban and Brian McKnight. Ha ha. Ken thinks David Foster is the link (he is sorta). Robin guesses Dan + Shay.

Seal

Clues: Seal talks about his tricky childhood stardom. He had a reputation as a bad boy. But he’s really a family man.

Performance: It’s Tricky by Run DMC – He is NOT A GOOD SINGER. He performs in a guttural tone and it’s not pleasant to listen to. He should go home first. Absolutely terrible. On Stage Clue: Sealed with a Kiss a Tribute to Jenny “House Call” Seal says, “Oh yeah baby. Yeah. It’s always fun hosting you for a change, because I’ve hosted you so many times at my place.” After flirting a bit back and forth, Jenny guesses Corey Feldman (She is correct. She knows). Robin guesses MaCaulay Culkin. Rita guesses Jerry O’Connell.

Gumball

Clues: Arcade game. He’s always felt like he was pretending to be something else. His family moved around as a kid. It made him insecure. He’s had no formal training. His loved ones encourage him to “carry on.”

Performance: Carry On My Wayward Son by Kansas – It’s a good song choice for him, He can sing but he’s not as skilled as Beets. He performs in a tenor voice, which allows him to hit high notes. He might actually win this thing. Ken calls it the best performance of the evening. On Stage Clue: “Sticky and Sweet Ken Jeong’s greatest hits. “Kenspriation” Gumball says, “One of the funniest jobs…you were involved as well.” Rita guesses Jack Black. LOL. He has to come and compete on this show sometime, between the fans and panel using him as a guess constantly. Robin guesses Zachary Levi. Jenny guesses James Marsden.

First unmasking after audience vote

The first singer getting unmasked tonight is…Seal. The Beats and Gumball will compete in the Battle Royale. Final guesses: Rita: Jerry O’Connell. Ken: Haley Joel Osment. Jenny: Corey Feldman. Robin: Corey Feldman. And Seal is…Corey Feldman! He calls the Seal the greatest role he’s ever played. “Love wins every time,” Corey tells his fans. “Make your dreams a reality.” He sings out with another round of “It’s Tricky.” This poor guy. Childhood stardom and bad parenting totally screwed him up.

Battle Royale

The Beets and Gumball sing “I’ve Had the Time of My Life” in their own styles. Beets are first. And it’s perfect for them, because the original song is a duet! It’s really good! Next, Gumball sings, and it’s not as good. But it’s solid. The judges really seem to favor Gumball. In the end they choose. They used their “ding dong” save too early!

Final elimination! Who is unmasked?

The winner of the Battle Royal and heading to the Quarterfinals is…Gumball. BOOOOOOOOOO. BEETS WAS ROBBED. Final guesses: Robin: Dan + Shay. Jenny: Jessie Tyler Ferguson and Eric Stonestreet. Rita: Cee Lo Green and Danger Mouse. Ken: K-Ci and JoJo. Still terrible guesses. Ain’t no damn K-Ci and J Jo Nick admonishes Ken. AND OF COURSE BEETS ARE CLAY AIKEN AND RUBEN STUDDARD. Ha ha. They get confetti. Ruben says they had a good time “Good to see everybody.” Ken says, “You had us all fooled.” Ken loved that they were and still are best friends. Likely there are crew members who worked for FOX back then. For instance, the set photographer, Michael Becker, worked on the American Idol set for years.
