Kellie Pickler visits Ryan Seacrest’s Voice studios at Children’s Hospital at Emory

And she’ll visit sick kids. With a new single “Tough” ready to hit the airwaves soon, she brought a couple of her bandmates from Nashville down to Atlanta and host a Kicks 101.5 “Idol” viewing party at Ryan Seacrest’s The Voice studio at Children’s Healthcare at Emory.

She posed for photos and signed autographs. She talked to Fox 5 and the Kicks morning hosts Cadillac Jack and Dallas McCade. She sang her two hits “Red High Heels” and “Don’t You Know You’re Beautiful.”

Roll out the red carpet; Lauren Alaina Suddeth’s homecoming set

Suddeth’s fans are rolling out the red carpet for her Saturday. She’ll ride in two parades, sing a few numbers at Coolidge Park, visit her high school, then throw out the first pitch at the Lookouts game before the day ends.

Missy Crutchfield, administrator of the Chattanooga Department of Education, Arts and Culture, called the national airtime a “wonderful way to showcase Chattanooga.”

‘American Idol’: Is There a Twitter Curse?

If the analysis of a Twitter trend proves true this week, we could have another Pia Toscano-sized upset unfold on “American Idol” tonight.

That’s because the contestant who received the most positive Tweets on Twitter last night was James Durbin. Tweeps love him.

And therein lies the problem.

CMT Brings Together All-Star Lineup and President Obama for Disaster Relief Concert

Throughout the night, Nicole Kidman, Shania Twain, actress Courtney Cox, Carrie Underwood, Big and Rich’s Big Kenny, Taylor Swift, talkshow host Ellen DeGeneres, and ‘American Idol’ judges Randy Jackson, Steven Tyler, Jennifer Lopez (as well as ‘Idol’ host, Ryan Seacrest) shared real-life stories about those affected the most by the fatal storms.

As fans called in to pledge their donations, some were lucky enough to talk with the celebrity volunteers manning the phones, which included Darryl Worley, Danny Gokey, Clay Walker, Phil Vassar, Ashton Shepherd, Kellie Pickler, Montgomery Gentry, David Nail, Clint Black, model Niki Taylor, Cheap Trick’s Tom Peterson, Hank Jr. and his daughters Holly and Hillary, and many more.

Jordin Sparks Lays ‘Revenge’ Bikini Twitpic Controversy To Rest

After OK magazine reported that Jordin said a ‘breakup led to weight loss, ’ Ryan got down to business asking Jordan whether it was true or not. Jordin explained, ”you know what, it was just one of those things and it just started instead of just talking about being active, I made it a priority.” Adding, “I was talking to somebody and then we just decided we would be friends and it was one of those things were I was turning 21 and New Years was coming and it was like I’m not going to start my resolution on New Years day, I’m going to try to start it early and just stick to it.”

Darius Rucker, Crystal Bowersox to perform at Lakeside Country Bash

Rucker, 44, says he never quite understands when stars turn their back on the thing that made them famous.

“I’m sure Crystal’s a nice person, ” he says, “but that’s one of my pet peeves, when those ‘Idol’ people do that. They go on that show, and that’s why they have their fame. And then they get off the show, and they’re like, ‘I don’t want to talk about ‘Idol.’ I wouldn’t know who the hell you were if it wasn’t for ‘Idol!'”

So go ahead, he says. Ask Hootie questions. He’ll answer.
